Why Submit a Paper

Submitting a paper at CIRED 2009 is a unique opportunity to present your views and share your ideas with hundreds of leading professionals. CIRED provides a unique forum to discuss and debate technical, operational and business matters including the opportunity to interact with key players including utility experts, industrial users, manufacturers, regulators, consultants, and academics.

  • Every accepted paper will be published in the CIRED conference CD-ROM ( all accepted papers will also be indexed and referenced in IET Inspec and IEEExplore)
  • Every author of an accepted paper will be given the possibility and will be strongly encouraged to display their work in the CIRED poster session and interact in depth with the delegates
  • Selected authors will be invited by the session chairmen to give a 12 minute presentation in the main sessions with the aim of ensuring an interesting and balanced debate
  • In addition, authors and delegates will be invited to prepare a contribution for the main sessions responding to the Special Rapporteur's questions
  • Papers with a special accent on research and innovation will be selected for presentation and discussion in the RIF sessions
